This plan lets you experience the detailed craftwork of Edo-Kiriko at Shimizuglass Co., Ltd. in Horikiri, Katsushika Ward. Shimizu Glass opened in 1923 as a glass processing shop. Ever since, it has continued to hone its glass processing techniques for a century. The glass crafting tradition of Edo-Kiriko, which was born through this long history of experience, creates functionally usable art objects embellished with delicate patterns. Through this activity of crafting Edo-Kiriko glassware to decorate your daily table, experience a history glimpsed within the glimmering sheen.
