[Tokyo, Oshiage] Experience the traditional Japanese culture of "calligraphy" - Experience calligraphy for children and adults next to a sacred shrine close to the Skytree!

Located just a 3-minute walk from Oshiage Station, near the Skytree. Why not try calligraphy in between sightseeing and shopping in Asakusa and the Skytree? This is a private lesson for one group. Relax and experience Japanese life in a tatami room with family or friends. First, you'll receive a brief explanation of calligraphy and tools. Next, you'll practice basic calligraphy lines on calligraphy paper. After that, practice writing your favorite characters using the model. We've prepared some popular kanji characters for you to use as models, but please let your instructor know if there's a character you'd like to write. Finally, everyone will complete a large piece of calligraphy paper and choose one of several options, including small pieces of paper, postcards, and keychains. You'll create a total of two pieces. You can take home not only your finished work, but also the paper you used for practice. Once you've finished, take a photo with your work in front of the Hokusai and cherry blossom interior. You'll also receive a small souvenir!

Sumo
